How to Choose Entertainment for a Corporate Event

Corporate entertainment can contribute a great deal to the success of a product launch, open day, office party, company celebration or awards ceremony. There are many different types of corporate entertainment and this article will highlight what sort of entertainment is best for your Corporate Event.

Entertainment for Product Launches

The type of entertainment needed for a product launch is heavily dependent on the outcome your company requires. Do you want a corporate entertainer hovering in the background entertaining people creating an atmosphere or do you want them to actually launch the product? Do you want background music, use of a PA system and a host and compare? A good events company can advise and organise any type of entertainer for your corporate event. If you want the product to be the star of the show, as in a new car launch, my suggestion would be to perhaps have guests welcomed by stilt walkers outside, giving away brochures. Inside the showroom could be close up magicians going around entertaining people and maybe have a good DJ with background music and a PA system that you can use to talk to people. I have found that employing good quality corporate entertainers rather than the cheapest option, is the best policy. The entertainers should be used as ambassadors for your company and product. You should select the right ones that reflect the image you want to portray. Product launches can be fun or serious, and again you should choose the corporate entertainment package that best suits what you want to accomplish. With almost 30 years of experience in this business I tend to instinctively know what the client wants to achieve and can advise on the best overall package.

Corporate Entertainment for Open Days

Open days are great opportunities for a company to show their clients, families of employees, prospective clients and local communities what and who they are. A good corporate entertainment organiser will have a range of entertainers at their disposal to ensure whatever the outcome of the day you want will be achieved. You should be able to specify clowns, close up magicians, DJs, circus schools, bouncy castles, candy floss and popcorn stalls, stilt walkers, ‘It’s A Knockout’ inflatable circuits, balloon modellers, quiz & game show hosts and face painters, in fact virtually anything that you could imagine can be sourced and supplied.

Award Ceremonies

Some of the best regarded corporate entertainment we have supplied for award ceremonies, has ranged from circus schools, DJs and musical bands through to close up magicians and clowns. Once again we work with the client and what they wish the outcome to be and supply appropriate entertainment for the pre-determined outcome. If you choose a corporate entertainer organiser, rather than an agency, you can cut the cost and increase the quality of the entertainment. This arrangement should allow the hiring of acts without paying a commission for each, whilst paying just a flat fee to the corporate entertainment organiser, a much more cost effective arrangement which allows you to get the highest quality service.

Three Common Misconceptions About Corporate Event Entertainment

Since booking corporate entertainment is so important, why do so many companies try to do without? It all comes down to some common misconceptions about corporate entertainment.

Misconception 1: Corporate entertainment is a hassle to deal with.

We’ve all heard those stories of the crazy riders that celebrity entertainers come with – like all blue M and M’s in the dressing room. This has left many corporate event planners with the notion that all entertainers are difficult to deal with.

Not so!

In most cases, experienced meeting entertainers have very few requests and they all have to do with giving your company the best entertainment experience possible. Best of all, when you work with an entertainment company that brings the entire show to you, you’ll only have to deal with the show coordinator. You can leave the rest of the details to the entertainment company.

Misconception 2: Corporate entertainment is a risk.

This is only partially true. Hiring an entertainer with no experience in the corporate world is a risk. There’s a big difference between the way someone entertains a private party and the way a business audience needs to be engaged.

By finding an event entertainment company that has proven experience in the corporate world you minimize your risk. Focus only on those entertainers who have worked with corporate audiences again and again.

Misconception 3: Corporate entertainment is an expense that can be avoided.

The success or failure of your event depends entirely on whether or not your event was memorable. People will come back to your event year after year if they’ve had fun and the best way to ensure that is with entertainment. Investing in entertainment for your meeting or event should be top priority for any company that wants to engage their audience and make a splash.

Don’t put meeting entertainment on the back burner! By hiring professionals in the corporate entertainment world, you can avoid these perceived problems and get the type of quality meeting entertainment that will have your audience ready to come back next year. By making it a selling point, you’ll draw more attendees in and create an event that is truly spectacular.

Children’s Party Tips: Scheduling A Party, Booking A Good Entertainer

There are a number of things to consider when booking an entertainer. As with any independent business, there is a variation in the quality from one entertainer to the next. Some are wonderful, some are good and some are perhaps not up to the standard you’d expect.

So how do you know which is which?

The proof is in the pudding. (yum!)

Any children’s entertainer worth his salt will not be the cheapest entertainer on the market. Yes, there are some entertainers who charge £130 for a two hour party and the price might sound fantastic. However, you should ask yourself why he values his show so cheaply?

Does anyone recommend them?

If you have found an entertainer not by personal recommendation, you should ask the entertainer if he/she has references or testimonials from parents, schools, nurseries etc.

Be wary of testimonials on an entertainers website if they appear to have been written by the website owner – I use video testimonials and independent review sites to prove mine are genuine and not written by me. Can your entertainer prove his testimonials are genuine?

What is their availability like?

A busy children’s entertainer will usually have at least a couple of slots on each weekend day to coincide with traditional eating times i.e. a lunch party (roughly 11am-1pm) or a tea party (roughly 3.30pm-5.30pm). If an entertainer is available for a 1pm-3pm party, it is usually a sign that they aren’t all that busy.

So how can I get a really good children’s entertainer cheaper?

The best thing about children’s entertainment is that the children can literally have fun anywhere and at any time – as long as the entertainer is good.

So how does this benefit you?

Well, if your child’s birthday is on a weekday, why wait till the Sunday to celebrate? If you book a party for a Thursday afternoon/early evening, for example, you are much more likely to either get a discount from the entertainer or have some freebies thrown in. In addition, as you won’t be booking at a peak time you will get your exact choice of times.

Brilliant!

Rental for halls can also be cheaper during the week, and their availability can be more flexible.

And lastly…

When looking to book any party, it seems that the norm is to book the hall first, and then look to book an entertainer afterwards. However, the hall itself has virtually no bearing whatsoever on the success of your party where, by contrast, getting a decent entertainer is essential to its success. Booking a party with a hall for a set time limits your options when it comes to good entertainment.

My advice is to book with a good entertainer before you book your hall. If possible, why not save yourself some money and have the party at home? This also gives you the flexibility of time you may not otherwise have.

Many thanks for reading!

Which Type Of Entertainment Is Best For Your Event?

If you’re planning an event or researching entertainment options after a bad experience in the past, there are a few important factors you need to keep in mind.

Here’s a short guide to determining which entertainment options are best for your next event:

Think About the Type of Event You’re Planning

A new product launch has a very different feel and environment than a yearly board of directors meeting. The entertainment that you select should fit the “feel” of your event. For formal events it’s appropriate to have something more conservative and low key. Having a small singing act or magic show is going to be a lot better received than something on the “spectacle” end of the spectrum.

Alternatively, if you are launching a new product, trying to get your audience excited and “pumped up,” or wanting to bring a high level of excitement, you’ll want to have entertainment to match. A cirque-style acrobatic show, a Broadway song and dance review or a high energy industrial rhythm show would fit the bill.

Consider Your Events Timeframe

Your entertainment should be the centerpiece of one night or afternoon during your multiple-day event. If you’re running a one-day event, you’ll need to have your entertainment on that same day. When you select an event entertainment option, you need to consider how long the show will last and whether you have room for it in your schedule. It may be better to book entertainment that takes a little less time if you’ve got your attendees on a jam-packed schedule.

As you consider entertainment options, ask the corporate event entertainment experts what they suggest. Many can customize their shows to meet your existing timeframe so you can get the quality of show that you want in the time that you have.

Understand Your Entertainment Budget

Your entertainment options will be affected by your budget, so it’s important to get that nailed down as soon as possible. When you are creating your budget for your entire event, keep in mind that the entertainment can be the “make or break” part of your event plan. It’s the thing that people are going to remember the most since it normally takes place at the end of the event.

If you want to keep your audience talking – and excited to come back the following year – it’s important to create a budget for your event’s entertainment. Don’t leave your entertainment as the last item on your list. You can either get quotes from event entertainment companies and use that to create your budget, or set a price and shop around to find an event entertainment company that will work within your budget. Keep in mind that while you shop, you may need to adjust your budget to fit the actual costs of professional event entertainment.

Find Something Unique for Your Audience

Entertainment has to be memorable so it’s important to find something unique. This is even more important if your event audience attends a lot of trade shows and other industry gatherings. Giving them something fresh and exciting can really make a difference in their appreciation of your event and their attendance next year.

Thinking outside of the box and trying something beyond a typical comedian or keynote speaker can pay off in the long run.

Massage in Bucharest

Recognize it! You’re busy! And so must be! That’s what life is like! But you want more than that, you want to do more for yourself and massage can help. Because massage makes more than a simple relaxation of the mind and body. It keeps your body in shape and gives you enough energy to make you enjoy a longer life better than you do it today.

Massage releases stress. At the moment, stress is a universal evil. Every time you are late, every time you avoid a car in traffic, every time you have trouble working, stress is doing his job. Each time adrenaline increases heart rate and cortisone levels and organs respond to the measure. You will be in a state of nerves and constant agitation.
When there is no release of stress, serious problems such as an upset stomach, hypertension, sleep disturbances, chest pain, or existing illness may worsen.

Some of the changes that may occur are: Anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, permanent fatigue, muscle or bone pain, sexual dysfunction, excessive sleep or insomnia

All these stress-related problems can be diminished and some can be totally eliminated by massage. The researchers concluded that a massage session can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax your muscles and increase endorphin production. The massage also releases serotonin and dopamine and the result is a general relaxation, both physical and mental.
Our body care must be at the top of the priorities.
By adding the massage to your routine you will look much better and you will be much healthier and relaxed. Massage can improve your vitality and mood. Massage can prepare for a long and beautiful life.

Our masseuses personalize each massage session according to the needs of the individual.
Our massage parlors offer a variety of relaxation styles and techniques to help you. Apart from relaxing, massage can be a powerful ally in reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving mental and physical performance

We recommend : HotAngels , VipZone , JadePalace , ThaiPassion

After a massage session, you will see how the mental prospects are enriched, the body allows easier handling, better pressure resistance, relaxation and mental alertness, calm and creative thinking.
When you have the impression or force yourself to stay straight, your body is not actually aligned properly. Not only does the posture look bad, but it forces some of the muscles to go muddy all day, while others become weaker. After a long time, the incorrect position may cause other drops. For example, internal organs press on what affects digestion, breathing ability is also diminished, which means that much less blood and oxygen reaches the brain and hence all sorts of other complications.

Massage allows you to return your body to the track. Allowing the body to make healthy and accurate movements is one of the greatest benefits of massage. Massage can relax and restore muscles injured by bad posture, allowing the body to position itself in a natural, painless position.
Apart from posture, there is also anxiety. One of the signs of anxiety and stress can also be heavy breathing. When the body begins to breathe too little and deeply instead of breathing at a natural rithm, it is impossible for one to relax. One reason may also be that the chest muscles and the abdomen get tightened and the air gets harder.

Massage plays an important role in learning the body how to relax and how to improve breathing. Respiratory problems such as allergies, sinuses, asthma or bronchitis are a group of conditions that can benefit from massage. In fact, massage can have a positive impact on respiratory function.

Many of the muscles in the front and back of the upper part of the body are breathing accessory. When these muscles are tight and shorten they can block normal breathing and interrupt effective breathing natural rithm. Massage techniques for stretching and relaxing these muscles improves breathing function and breathability. Massage leads to an opening of the chest as well as structural alignment and nerve dilatation that are required for optimal pulmonary function. A good way to treat respiratory problems with massage is the taping made in Swedish massage. When done on the back, along with vibrations, it can detach the mucus from the lungs and can clean the airways for better later function.

Massage not only relaxes muscles, but helps people become aware of daily stress levels. Once the body recognizes what really means relaxation, the mind can rest easily relax before the stress becomes cornice and harmful. This will help you enjoy a balanced life. Massage controls breathing, allows the mind to re-create relaxation before the occurrence of chronic and harmful stress and increases the level of energy.
